Popular Guy Names That Still Stand Out

By
Juna Ellis

I once heard a mom call out “Arthur, shoes on, now” in a parking lot, and it instantly reminded me how different a name feels in real life than it does on a curated list. Arthur on paper can look a little formal. Arthur yelled across asphalt sounded warm, sturdy, and completely natural. That is the trick with guy names. The good ones are not just stylish. They hold up when somebody actually has to live inside them.

A lot of boy-name lists throw everything together and call it variety. I think it is more useful to sort names by the kind of energy they carry. Some feel timeless. Some feel clean and current. Some are softer, some sharper, some a little rarer without becoming a burden. So that is how I built this list.
